I am a dabbler in all sorts of creative endeavours. I have invented games, languages and other things.
In July 2007 I invented a solitaire card game called Elemental, and in October I invented a second version of the same game. Since January 2008, the online official rules include both versions. There's also a tutorial, but it only covers the original version. On my blog, I've written some comments on the creative process behind it.
Peaks & Pits is a domino game I invented for 3-5 players. Also requires at least a hundred tokens (such as buttons, M&Ms, poker chips, or whatever similar items are to hand).
With regard to the games "Elemental" and "Peaks & Pits", an email to say that you enjoy them is always appreciated. I also appreciate the courtesy of being contacted should you wish to publish your own description of the games, distribute my own descriptions, implement the games in software, or publish any game inspired by my ideas.
I have dabbled in the art of conlanging (inventing a fictional language just for fun). My conlang Gzarondar is no longer online or being developed, but feel free to ask about it if you want to. You can read about conlanging in general on my blog.
You can find more language-related writings on my blog, including two or three scripts from an alternative history of Earth.
More things I've invented or designed can be found on my blog, e.g. this garment I once made from a bedsheet.
For people who still play old computer games, perhaps this will interest.
